Three Jewish widows take their vows a little too seriously. They meet once a month for tea following a visit to their husbands' graves. Ida is sweet tempered and ready to begin a new life. Lucille is the feisty embodiment of the girl who just wants to have fun. Doris is priggish and judgmental, particularly when Sam, the butcher, enters the scene. They meet Sam when he is visiting his wife's grave. See what happens when the widows' usual routine gets a live man thrown in the mix!
